What the course covers
ISO Internal Auditor training equips staff to plan, conduct, report and follow up internal audits of their own organisation’s management system against an ISO standard. Every ISO management system standard requires internal audits, so this training gives organisations the in-house capability to meet that requirement and to find and fix issues before an external audit. It is delivered by ABS Academy, which has provided training services since 2004 with highly competent trainers.
Who it’s for
The course is aimed at employees who will run internal audits — quality, safety, security and compliance staff, and process owners — particularly in organisations that hold or are pursuing an ISO certification such as ISO 9001 or ISO 27001.
Format
Internal Auditor courses are shorter and more focused than the Lead Auditor programme, concentrating on the practical skills an internal auditor needs. For staff who only need to understand a standard rather than audit it, the Awareness course is the lighter option.
It sits within the Management System Training portfolio.
